Main Responsibilities of the role:
Overall responsibility for the running of the Home in accordance with the standards and regulations pertaining to residential care homes.
To ensure adequately trained and skilled staff are on duty at all times.
To ensure the Quality Assurance, Operational Plans, Training and the Budget are fully delivered each year on time and within budget.
To promote and develop new services .
To lead the Senior Care Management Team.
To ensure residents are treated with respect at all times in a safe environment.

Qualifications & Experience required:
Registered Manager Award and NVQ4 award in Care or Level 5 Diploma in Care
3 years experience in a care home environment including detailed knowledge of the regulations under which a care home operates
3 years experience of managing staff including recruitment and dismissal of staff.
Organisational and time management skills
Experience of the special requirements of older people and empathy with their daily needs
Basic IT skills
